Back together again

It took him leaving to Chicago to finally have the opportunity to talk to his wife about his friends. You see, Alex, Yair, Carlos and I were best friends since junior high. Yair and Alex got together at some point early on and broke up soon after (you know, a junior high thing).

So you come to the almost present time and find that Yair gets married to this wonderful girl named Jessica, and they have a little baby girl and everything. Well, at this point, we all hung out and everything, but she didn’t know that at one point, Alex and Yair were together. Yes, I know, bomb ready to explode. So, it does and trouble ensues, and Yair isn’t allowed to ever speak to Alex again. Alex, of course gets the bad end of the deal because she just lost a friend out of nowhere. I must add, this was completely Yair’s decision.

So now Yair has moved to Chicago, Jess is still back home and they are having a “talk” on the phone and Yair finally fesses up that he doesn’t want to be denied his friendship with Alex. I mean, come on, junior high! We are SO past that! She agrees, and tada! Yair is calling Alex again! He called her right after he told me, but couldn’t reach her. He reached Alex the following day and things are so much better now. Now, if Yair ever comes back to visit, or incase we all go over there, we can all hang out together like we did back in the day. How cool is that?!

Ok, well, I have to finish some homework for my bogus education class (best/worst learning experiences). That is what they call lab. Ha! I’ll show them what lab is! I’ve got 8 hours of it a week for invertebrate zoology! But anyways, I am out to eat some brunch (yummy chinese food take-out leftovers!). Mmmmmm. . . .
