By the way, Jaime, one of my residents last year is gonna be an RA at, guess where, our old 4th Floor LSKB (All-Girls) hall! I am so happy for her. I know she is going to do a fabulous job!

Updates? Well, I have final projects to work on for all my classes. I am doing a watercolor of the giant kelp in it’s habitat as well as a habitat. I don’t know what I will do for my drawing class yet, we just got our assignments today. I also have to pick out my favorite studio session drawing, as well as two homeworks from my drawing class to see if they pick anything for the student art show next Friday (31). For Mexico y el Suroeste, I have to work on my presentation. I have all the pictures, I just need to finish scanning and printing them out on to overheads. I am doing it on artesanias de Tlaquepaque. San Pedro, Tlaquepaque, in Guadalajara is where my dad is from. His maternal gradparents were “artesanos” and workd mainly in clay and similar stuff. They did so their whole lives. I will be making my presentation on the different types of artifacts that they would typically make. It is so interesting for me. They actually have one of my great-grandmother’s tea sets that she made in a local museum there. I will be visiting this summer, and that is sure to be one of my stops!

I am still trying to figure out how to write this stupid javascript so that I can finish with my new layout for my HP site. I am so frustrated with that!

OMG! Guess what! OK, Yair and Carlos are also coming up for graduation! That makes them two, Alex, Chuy, Memo, Heyzen, Letty, Lynette, and my family and all of Juan’s and friends, oh, and my nina. That’s some party!! Woo-hoo! And then when we go home, the next Saturday will be a big pachanga over at Juan’s to celebrate our graduation. I am so excited, I can’t wait to go home!

At the same time, I will miss Santa Cruz dearly. I will miss the people, like Shalea, Herbie, and my girls from 4th Floor, and Jamie and Holly (when they come back). *sigh*

OMG! I saw Heather on TV last night! It was so cool! Heather is one of Shalea’s home buddies. She graduated last year and enrolled in the Salinas Police Department. She graduated yesterday and is now off to the Academy. They interviewed her personally and everything! I am so glad that i got to see her in her uniform. Oooo! So sexy! lol

OK, that was ok for now, I also want to talk about my recent talks with Eddie Reyes from back home. Another reason for me to be excited to go back. 🙂
