I’ve been wanting to update, but haven’t had the chance. Last week was crazy, and the weekend was great.

So my interview for the lab tech position was last Friday. I don’t think I did so good. The interview was like three minutes long – all we did was confirm what was on my resume and ask me what classes I had taken. That was it. Then we (the interviewees) took an hour long exam that without exageration – I think I bombed on. Now I continue my search because I am very doubtful that I will get it.

That night though, sabi took the family out for v-day dinner, and Juan took me out for dinner at the pier in Redondo Beach. It was a great surprise. We were supposed to eat at this fancy restaurant, but when we go there, they told us the wait was three hours! We were starving, so we decided to walk around and look for a place to eat. We ate some yummy lobster at this cheap little beach shack. It was great! Then we took a nice stroll on the beach and we watched the mighty force of the waves crashing on the beach. Then Juan decides to give me a little surprise. 🙂 He gave me a beautiful white gold ring with three sapphires and four diamonds flanking them on the sides. It’s a promise ring – a promise that he will love me forever – a promise that I already knew, but now can look at every time I look at my hand.
