So my last post was about Nimbus. I left out Juan’s birthday and anything else because I wanted the Nimbus post separate.

Now, back to Juan’s bday: majorxero did the coolest thing. He invited the whole Chusma to an Italian dinner in celebration of Juan’s bday – and by invited I mean he arranged where we were going, called everyone up, gave out directions, and picked up the tab. Thanks Memo, that was cool, and the leftover lasagna in the middle of the week was a wonderful lunch. After we ate dinner that Sunday, we hunted down an open Starbucks and hung out on the parking lot drinking our coffees. I shared my Nimbus stories and we all had a good old time hanging out and taking pictures. It was a very mellow but lovely birthday for Juan, and a great first day back.

AoP Education: So I started my new position on Monday. It has been a learning experience. Basically, I have to get to the point that I know these presentations so well that I can talk these things on the fly, because everyone does their presentations differently, and you always cater to the audience. Furthermore, the presentations that you do with the divers in the exhibits are even more random because you have to try and have a conversation with them on the mic. I dunno. I start to shadow tours on Monday, and later that week, I will go on the boat again (yay!). This time though, it will be so that I can either learn the presentation, or do it, I don’t know at this point.

On Thursday, I didn’t work but I met up with Angela from work at the AoP. We were meeting up to go and celebrate Joanne’s birthday at Chuck E Cheese’s. Yeah. You read that right. We had loads of fun and won tickets galore. She ended up taking home a glitter lava lamp and a tiara with all the tickets. I feel so at ease with the Ed crew, it makes me feel really good. (They like me, they really really like me!!) lol

Yesterday, we all went to the movies. The whole chusma, and it was cool. I hated the whole picking which movie we were going to go see. I was gonna shoot somebody if we took another minute. Dude. The whole wait was great because that was our hangout time. We just sat up on the columns and talked about Anthony’s drama, sucky movies, more Nimbus, the OC fair, and just good ‘ol chusma stuff. We need to do this more often. We may all go party next week at Chuy and Alex’s niece’s baptism (that was a mouthful). I still don’t know if we are going to the OC fair to check out Ozomatli. I want to, but I think about work days and then I don’t want to so bad. Next week, I work everyday, except Sunday. Hours good. Work bad. I need more rest, but I also need the money, so I will take the hours while they are still available.

Gotta go and change. I am still in shorts (yes, I went out into the public with shorts today. This is because I got to wade with the sharks today at Shark Lagoon. That was lots of fun). So yeah, Juan is almost here, and we are gonna go eat and bowl. Oh yeah. 😀
