I have a headache

Well, WWdN pointed me to this, and I am amused and confused all at the same time. I mean, they make goths out to be this huge group of depressed “oh woe is me group” that doesn’t like to have fun, which to a certain extent may be true, and they like to focus on how this bunch of people going to Disneyland is such an oxymoron, but is it really? Just ‘cuz you’re goth doesn’t mean you don’t like to have fun, even if it is at Disneyland. I wonder what type of goths show up to that, and I wonder if there are any out there that are truly repulsed by the idea.

Anyway, enough about goths…

Yesterday we went to Hanna’s 4th birthday party. She’s Felipe and Rosie’s daughter. Juan and I went and ate, danced for a couple of hours and basically hung out because Felipe was DJ’ing and didn’t really come out of the garage where he was set up. He had an awesome system too, and Juan and I imagined Chuy wandering around all the equipment, sticking his head in the speakers and getting stats from Felipe. After that we left and Juan and I just cruised around and had a much needed talk. We seem to be having a “much needed talk” every week recently.

Next week is an all-staff party at the AoP. They are having a theme too – Gilligan’s Island, and they encourage costumes. Yeah – that would be a negative here. But I hope to have fun watching, mingling, and introducing Juan to all my buddies from work. Also, Chris is planning a beach party, which I am very excited about because I have been wanting to go to one all summer, and have even considered it an option for my b-day.
