Recap time…
Let me start from last Saturday…
We had a blast! First let me begin by announcing that this past weekend was the first real weekend I’ve had since I started working for education. Two days in a row, and they landed on the real weekend! I was so stoked about that. Anywho, finally, after years of planning, we had our 2nd Annual Chusma Gift Exchange & Potluck. We had waaaaay too much awesome food. Everything from yummy burgers straight from the grill, to baked potatoes, roasted chicken, yummy pork, fruit salad, and a yummy salsa with chips. I am sure that that was not the whole menu either. It was cool. We set it up for a lunch thing because Chuy had to DJ that night, Lynette was on call for the evening, and Memo, coincidentally, had somewhere to go around 5:00pm. We ate, talked, opened some really awesome presents, and watched the boys skateboard. That is what it’s all about – just hanging out. I hope that we can make it more of a priority this year. I mean, we kinda hang out, but it’ll be like three or four people. This time, it was eleven of us. And just for the sake of memories, in attendance were: amontoya, Chuy, majorxero, platonic_form, hilda, Heyzen, Lynette, Letty, Richard, Juan, and Me. Since Lynette graciously hosted this year, her family was also there.
After the party over there, we took it to Juan’s house. Basically, the only ones that made it out there were Alex and then Heyzen and Lynette after a while. We had an insane amount of fun with a can of whipped cream. We were so bad!! hahahahaha Heyzen also showed us some of the video that he is making for Lynette’s cousin’s wedding from the photographs that were taken that day. It looked awesome, and he told us that he wants to do video for our wedding, which I am insanely stoked about. He also showed us the video he made (his 48 hr one), the one where we helped him a little with the filiming and stuff. I was impressed.
That night, Juan and I took advantage that we had everyone there (sorry that Juan was in a “meeting” and that you had to go majorxero, we really wanted to tell you all at the same time), because we wanted to announce the wedding party. As it stands it will be:

Today, we will be visiting Father Chris at our local church. After the time it took me to put that html table together, I lost my train of thought.
Oh! One more comment: Alex and Heyzen are so cute! No joke, this weekend they started looking into wedding planning, tuxes, and other info. I know that the day of our wedding things will go right because we are blessed with good reliable friends that understand what we want.
