How dare they call my baby stupid? hmph!
Update on that sea hare – we had to take him out of the bins. Apparently, he is just so stressed out in there that with no real provocation, he inked himself silly on our way back from Walnut yesterday. There was no ink in the bins, but we were able to tell because the protein skimmer sure took care of it for us. We still had to do a water change, but all was well.
These kids that we visited yesterday were so cute – first graders. The thing that struck me as the most adorable, however, was watching them hang out sitting on the sidewalk waiting for their classmates to return from being on the truck. They were all sitting close together, and this one boy wrapped his arms around as many of his classmates as he could muster, and then those classmates in turn hugged each other and they were all one big blob of cute adorable first graders with no embarassment for hugging each other, and they genuinely gave and received those hugs too. Too cute.
Today, hilda and I went to a Thrift shop, ate brunch at Fudrucker’s (or something like that), and found the perfect paper for the invites at Michael’s. Too bad they only had 30-something sheets. I need 160. Sucks!
The Long Beach Grand Prix is next weekend – finally. I can’t wait for them to tear all that stuff down already. It looks exciting, but awful at the same time.
