It has been a while since I posted anything, and I keep getting the itch to do so, but when I sit here, I don’t want to do much.
It’s been rather cold here in SoCal lately, like, really cold. For us wimpy southern californians, anyway. Thanksgiving was rather nice. My family went to visit relatives in Mexico, which my mom had been wanting to do for years. I was really happy for her, because it is really important to her. What this also meant was that she didn’t cook the yummy turkey or stuffing that she makes every year. What this also do was make it very easy to decide what we were going to do for Thankgiving this year: go to Juan’s parent’s place. His mom made a great turkey. And Juan loves the ham, so we had some of that too.
Speaking of turkey, let’s go way back to two saturdays ago when we had our first official Chusma Thanksgiving all the way over at amontoya‘s and cachanilla‘s house. It was great. The food was awesome and the company, well, it was lovely. It was very nice to have the lalagimp with us too.
This past saturday, we went out bowling as a sort of goodbye for said gimp. 😉 It was a lot of fun, even if I was exhausted and I bowled one miserable game. Juan though, he rocked and bowled a 216! W00t!
I have more to add, but I am at work and will add later when I get home.
