So I lied. I am updating the next day. But whatever. It doesn’t matter. Right?

Today I went in to work for a little while because we needed to finish prepping all the stuff we need for the two ‘classes’ we are having tomorrow. One of them is called “12 Days by the Seashore” and is this 12 page book that you get to make with all sorts of cute little crafty things that you add on to it, in the style of “12 Days of Christmas”. VERY prep intensive because we basically make it so easy for you to put together, that a little kid could do it with very minimal help.

After that we will be having a Holiday Craft Bonanza. Sounds like fun. Really!

Speaking of the holidays, people are doing this meme, so, you know, just for the heck of it, I will too. And I promise to really look at everyone’s lists and see what I can do. =D

So, here is my .

Step One Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered…whatever you’re comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related (“I’d love a Snape/Hermione icon that’s just for me”) to medium (“I wish for _____ on DVD”) to really big (“All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.”) The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Step Two Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here’s the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Sometimes someone’s trash is another’s treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you won’t use–or even know where you could get someone’s dream purebred Basset Hound for free–do it.

You needn’t spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn’t to put people out, it’s to provide everyone a chance to be someone else’s holiday elf–to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not–it’s your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just…wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you’ll have the joy of knowing you made someone’s holiday special.
An iPod. Whether you help me get one free, eventually, or just buy me one.
Lovely, manly, sexy, Sirius fanart.
Any of the Star Trek TNG Series on DVD, particularly starting with Season 3, but any of them, because I own none of them.
A gaming system. PS One or 2, GameCube, anything really.
A cheap surround sound system without a DVD player. Just find it for me, heck, I’ll buy it.
The bowls and large plates that match my glasses and dessert plates.
A nice digital camera (atleast 3 Megapixels)
I can always use ink for my HP 7660 printer.
Headphones so that I can listen to my tunes when I am on my laptop without bugging people.
Anything from my wishlist.

I don’t ask for much. :p

Aaaand, I love the cards that I have been getting from the swap at Immeritus. Every single one is precious and unique, and I love them!
