Good times

Things have been going well lately. Last Thursday was our annual departmental holiday party. The nice folks that we contract our summer “Ocean Experience” to were kind enough to host this year’s party as well. So we went out for a 2 hour cruise in the harbor, looking at all the nice Christmas lights along the shore. The company was wonderful, and the food was never ending. Juan and I had a really great time there.

Then on Sunday, we went to Wendy & Micah’s (and Keirnan, their ickle baby) Annual Holiday Dinner. We brought some salad (as per her request), and Cranium, as per mine. The food, once again, was magnificent, the company was great, and Cranium was a blast like always. I was really happy that we were invited and that we were able to make it as well. This Friday, I am hoping that everyone in the Chusma will be able to come over for our holiday dinner. I am really excited about it and can’t wait to start the cooking. I think I will get some help from my mom. I really missed her turkey this year.

Today was an Aquatots day, but I wasn’t scheduled to do it. Instead, Mesha and Caroline did it, which is great for them, but I missed the kids. It is also an Aquatots that I have never done before. But the CUTEST thing happened! Carson and his grandma brought Mesha and me presents! We are the usual duo, this was Caroline’s first time. I couldn’t believe it! It was this cute ‘ocean water’ scent votive in a glass container wrapped in blue tissue paper. Seriously? It could have been half used and cracked and I still would love it because they thought about getting us something. My first teacher present. *grin*

And how’s Immeritus doing? Meh. Could be doing better. I think that this week should do it. *crosses fingers* Oh, and xmas cards that I promised from here will be on their way this week as well! Sorry, but they won’t be handmade. Hopefully you will get them in time for xmas. Thanks to madzilla and halogirl8 for the cards that I got this week. This year I have gotten so many cards. . . I love it!
