Shark Lagoon Cam
Hey, I dunno why I hadn’t plugged it before, but we have a Shark Lagoon cam, and it’s pretty cool. I dunno if it is fast and smooth for me because I am pretty much onsite, but let me know if this looks smooth for you too. It’s live, and I am going to tune in at 2pm to see if you get a good view of the feed.
You’ll need to log in as guest/guest and accept a mini plug-in thing to watch it. I don’t particularly like the viewer, so I shrink the window and put it on the top corner of my desktop.
And for you Mac folks, sorry, it won’t work for you.
You’ll see sand tiger sharks, zebra sharks, nurse sharks, a thorny ray, whiptail reticulate sting rays, a freshwater saw fish, white tip reef shark, and some pompano (no, those are not feeder fish!). I think that about covers it. Oh, and if you ever wondered what the difference between boy sharks and girl sharks are, check out the boy’s claspers as they swim by the cam. If you never noticed them before, you will now!
ETA: You can do screen caps with the application! Here are some on my lj gallery for you to see!
