Awww Mag – don’t cry. You can still get to Barnes & Noble before midnight! You’ll be fresh off of work, so you’ll be awake anyway. And if you’re feeling sleepy, I’m sure little Zorro will be willing to give you a nip that will wake you up 😉

But then, look on the bright side … you can have a nice long lie-in in preparation for all-night reading (if you intend to do that), and then go straight from work to the bookstore!

I took the 15th off ~~to collect my Geek Of The Year Award~~ so I can have a lie in myself, so I don’t get too tired when I stay up all night reading (which I will be doing. :D)

That’s my schedule that day, too, or it is 3 – 11:30. But a co-worker and I are going to leave at about 10:30 and go to a bookstore party. I’m the boss and I am telling her she has to clock out early, ha ha.

I could take it off, but then I’d be twiddling my thumbs for *HOURS* (or listening to “Mommy, will you play with me?)and have no fingernails left by the time it’s time to go.

Yeah, last time, I swung into B&N at 2 am thinking the crowd would’ve died down by then and the joint was JUMPIN’… you’ll get there in plenty of time.

If it makes you feel any better, I just took a look to see if there are going to be any bookstore parties here on Fri. night and there won’t! No Party! Acccck! So you’re better off than those of us here, you can go after work. I am going to have to get up at 6 on Sat. morning to run to town to get a copy since the one I ordered from Amazon certainly won’t be arriving until Mon. since post doesn’t come on Sat. and waiting until Mon. evening after work is just not on.
