I find it completely insane that HP Lexicon posted some big time information so on the fly.

His name is Regulus Arcturus Black, according to a well-placed source yesterday. Wtf? A “well-placed source”? How weird is that? How odd that the Lexicon of all places would have news like that? I mean, the entire fandom assumed it was Regulus, but to have it ‘confirmed’. Very interesting indeed. I want to hear what JK has to say about this.

I know, tis strange. I’m just so excited that I ‘have’ to believe it, but at the same time am in disbelief also that, like you said, is so on the fly. I mean, if I hadn’t been scrolling through the characters, I never would’ve even seen it!

*is waiting for it to be debunked, therefore making my enthusiasm unfounded* 🙂

    I did about 29823742 searches online looking for a sliver of information from other sites, but alas, nothingdoing. We’ll just have to wait and see, I suppose. My thought is also that JKR wouldn’t want something that huge revealed, so she’d probably deny it, even if it were true.
    
    btw Thanks for posting it as news; I thought forsure it would be too far out there, which is why I posted in the thread also 😉

      Well, I was very weary, at first, I thought it was a noob – I always read the story before paying attention to who sent it (helps me stay unbiased). Then I went to the Lexicon, read it, and was dumbfounded. So I posted it with my minor edit and personal comment. Only time will tell, and once again, thanks for sharing! Talk about digging!

        Sounds legit. Or, looks legit, or whatever. And, it’s also what most of us have been thinking, so of course, it could just be a lucky guess, but that doesn’t sound like the Lexicon.
        
        I’m guessing it’s true.
