So what I learned from my previous post/poll is that you all take your hair waaaaay seriously. Or most of you do, anyway. heh Although I do have a question for the 6 of you that run out of conditioner before shampoo, how the hell do you do that?! How much conditioner are you using?! I can pretty much take two bottles of shampoo and they will run out at the same time as one bottle of conditioner.
It was an amusing poll, and I did learn a little about you guys. lol
This last weekend was great. We went to a party (Happy Birthday ladycinderella2!) and had a fun time with costumes and all. Juan and I dressed up as 20’s gangsters. Well, not really. He was the gangster, I was the flapper girlfriend (uh – wife). Pictures are on Flickr, f-locked. Feel free to register and add me as a contact. I’ll add you and you can then see those pictures and any future ones as well.
Halloween itself was pretty boring. Went to my mom’s house so that I could do my little sister’s hairstyle again (the japanese geisha one). I think I did a better job the first time. Oh well. She looked nice though. She had a lot of fun with her friends running around the park and getting candy. Juan got there pretty late and missed all the little trick-or-treaters. There weren’t too many this year, and half of the kids that showed up had either really lame costumes, or no costume at all (but had a grocery bag for their candy. :p). Halloween was a lot more fun when I was a kid. They don’t even let the kids dress up in school anymore. The principal at my little sister’s school said they didn’t deserve it, like they don’t deserve anything. It’s a brand new school that was constructed right across the street from my parents, and is used pretty much as an overflow school for all the compton kids – the bad compton kids that the other schools don’t want. I feel bad for my little sis because she was quite happy at her old school with her other friends (not in compton) but they assigned her here because it is closer.
Yesterday, I lost my phone at some point. I have a feeling it was either at the bus stop or on the bus itself. I assumed I left it at home the entire day because I was hoping beyond all hope that it would be there, and it wasn’t. I called it many many times last night, and finally this teenage girl answered it with amusement and said “Hello”. I paused and stammered out “Uh, yeah. You see, that’s my phone.”. She was silent for like 2 seconds, and hung up the phone. Bitch. So I called it in this morning and it is now deactivated. I needed a new phone already anyway. Been considering it for a couple months now, but what pisses me off is that I will not have my numbers anymore. Grr. But whatever. Hopefully we can go tonight and get a new phone.
Anyway… on to good news….
There is something in store this month at Immy! A representative from the WB has been in contact with me about setting up some sort of contest on our site (that we design/run) and they will provide us with prizes (not sure what or how many, but movie posters at the very least) all in promo for GOF! Stay tuned to immeritus and Immeritus.org for news on how you could participate and win!
