Another wonderful weekend! On Saturday, Juan and I were going to take the girls to the movies, but they ended up heading down with my parent’s to San Diego to visit an uncle, so it was just Juan and me. We finally decided to eat dinner at Chili’s. We had a margarita each, and some nice chicken fajitas. It was good. And honestly, I haven’t the faintest idea what we talked about, but we had an excellent time. It was pouring while we were in there, and misty when we got out. It was freezing and windy on the way in, so we missed the rain. That’s good. I wansn’t in the mood for getting wet.

On Sunday, instead of going to the Auto Show like we planned, we slept in, and then picked the girls up to go miniature golfing, dinner, and a movie.

The miniature golf part was a little hard, because we wanted to go someplace new, and the directions we got were a little blurry in our minds, so we couldn’t find it. Eventually, Juan remembered a glow-in-the-dark miniature golf place that is in the same center as restaurants and the movie theater. So we went to The Putting Edge. It was bigger than I thought! So after some pretty crazy putting, we were starving. We went to a Thai food restaurant. Food ended up being pretty bland. Bland Thai food. Isn’t that on oxymoron? Anyway, afterwords, we went in to Borders to wait for the movie. What movie, do you ask? Memoirs of a Geisha.

They changed so many things in the movie. So many things that they didn’t need to change. I don’t get it. The whole time I saw it all I could think about was how this was different from that. It was a disaster. I don’t know if it was a good movie or not. I couldn’t focus. I shouldn’t have read the book before. This is probably the most different book to movie adaptation that I have seen in a long time.

Oh well.

All aside, I go back to work tomorrow, and have a work baby shower to attend. I am such a loser because I still didn’t get her anything. I will order it tonight and she will get it soon. There is no reason I didn’t get it before. Just that I forgot. :/ At least she’ll get it before the baby is here. lol

I am getting sick. It is in my throat right now, and I really hope that it doesn’t go full scale because, well, do I really need to give you a reason?
