A Search for Survivors

Please go and read. Spread the word. Aside from a plot line in CSI which only mildly touched on the subject, I had never heard of “attachment therapy” before, until a friend posted about it on LJ. She was a victim and for the longest time, didn’t even realize it (I know it seems strange, but it is one way to cope). It wasn’t until last week that something sparked inside her and made her search online for information on what she went through and slowly came to realize that what she went through was terribly wrong. She is now tearing down the walls and wants to network with other survivors because right now, they are either hiding, in denial, or dead.

This needs public awareness. Talk to your friends and family about it. Post it in your lj and email to your buds. This is about everyone knowing, because as you all learned when you were kids, “knowing is half the battle”.

And then it needs to stop.
