I KNOW! Isn’t that awesome?! Yahoo! is the devil and I am glad to see it go away. GOOO GOOGLE!

  BUT this is just another way for Microsoft and Yahoo to put their powers together against the Google leviathan. The only thing I am kinda worried about is Flickr. :/

    Neither company has a reliable online presence and joining forces won’t help things much because the marketing strategies of both is FAIL. I mean, you don’t Yahoo! something; you don’t MSN Search something. You GOOGLE something. That kind of PR will not be overcome easily, even by MSY!.
    
    I think Google should launch their own image site like Flickr. Can you imagine how many people will jump ship?

      They’ve had one for a long time. It is called Picasa Web Albums and it just doesn’t compare, but if Flickr suffers, I will indeed jump ship.

I’m sorry, I hate Microsoft as a corporate entity. I don’t like these consolidations of what’s available on the web dwindling, so I don’t blame you for being worried about Flickr…

Even if Yahoo is worthless when it comes to some things, damn – we have AT&T DSP, and guess who is associated with AT & T – Yahoo. I don’t want to wind up having Explorer as my main option when I’m a Mac person thru and thru!

I’m slightly worried because as good as google is, I have trouble getting gmail to load on my computer, so all of us here have Yahoo mail.

That’s the only thing I worry about. Yahoo has good customer service for their mail problems, if yahoo goes Microsoft….*sighs*
