Mag, I’m so upset. I really am. There are so many stupid people in this country, and they tend to be McCain supporters.

I’m so bloody TIRED of the constant bombardment of people who think Obama is evil because he doesn’t wear a flag pin (even though he does and does that REALLY make someone a good president? Um…no.), is a Muslim, never puts his hand over his heart for the pledge (which I beg to differ is protocol based on my formal Girl Scout training), and assorted other stuff.

I have a horrible feeling most of these slanderous emails are race based. People don’t want a black man to win.

As for the media being Obama focused..BULL. The media doesn’t give a damn about who wins, they just want to report on controversy. So, they’re NOT going to bury stories or stop talking about stupid stuff like Edwards, Paris Hilton Ads, etc. They’re just going to keep stirring the pot. That’s how they get ratings.

I’m soooo pissed right now because there’s this big beef with Edwards right now about adultery…BUT LOOK AT WHAT MCCAIN DID TO HIS FIRST WIFE!!! And he’s the REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE! Yet, it’s supposed to be ‘over’ for Edwards, who isn’t even the presidential candidate? Give me a break.

Not to mention the Republican smear attempts using Paris Hilton/Britney Spears comparisons, and making fun of Obama’s tire inflation advice. NONE of those things have ANYTHING to do with the Whitehouse! It’s just another ruse from the Republicans…AND PEOPLE FALL FOR IT!

I’m so ashamed of my country. I wish I wasn’t. I really do. People are like sheep. They just bleat along in their lives and don’t feel compelled.

I’m aching right now over this entire thing. I want to see someone on the Democratic side fight back, and fight dirty. We have to, because that is the only way to stand up to bullies…which is what the Republicans are.

Furthermore, I’m pissed with those who think “McCain isn’t so bad…he’s really moderate!” BULL! When people say that it means they have absolutely no idea what the hell he’s about.

I’m sorry I got so fired up. It’s just…well, with Hilary not shutting the hell up, and all this smearing going on, and nobody standing up to it, I’m afraid we’re going to get saddled with McCain.

I don’t trust the public. They don’t THINK.

I’ve cried many tears over this.
