Photographers Night

It was amazing.

My little event that I have been dreaming about for literally years happened last night-uhm, a couple weeks ago. I don’t have the official tally, but we had around 200 photographers loaded up with the slimmest point and shoot all the way up to some crazy DSLRs, tripods, strobes, and stuff, the works!

I was very fortunate that when I was looking for a place to distribute flyers about the event I sent some to Tuttle Cameras in my neighborhood. After getting their stack of flyers, they called us to see if they could do anything to help. Soon enough I was talking to the owner and he was talking about bringing along Canon and Nikon reps with their equipment so they could have people check out lenses to play with for free. That was a fantastic. The Nikon rep really came through and brought SO MUCH EQUIPMENT. She even brought camera bodies. You could basically have walked up with your flash card and checked out cameras, lenses, etc, all for free.

The feedback I got from photographers and other staff was nothing short of awesome. And the photos! Oh boy, the photos! Let my give you a little sampling…
