I’ve had the need to write in my journal for weeks now, ever since I got home. I haven’t had the chance, and finally, today my mom found a telephone cord that i could hook up to my computer. *sigh* A telephone cord. I miss the ethernet. :\ Now it actually takes effort to get online. Bah, I’ll order DSL soon enough.

So we graduated, then Letty graduated on Father’s Day in Business administration at UCR, and then Carlos (Luis’ little bro) graduated last Thursday from HS (barely!). Last Saturday was Juan’s graduation party and it was also Letty’s. La chusma made it to Letty’s, I went to Juan’s and then they all came over later (minus Letty). We had a really great time. Chuy did us the favor of DJ’ing for free (approx. $400 value). There was a lot of food and we had quite a few really good talks.

Luis came over last night so that I could lend him some CD’s. It was nice to see him again. He doesn’t have a car anymore. He feel asleep at the wheel on April 6th and rammed into the back of a minivan at 40mph with his brother and mom in the car. His car was totaled and the van was pretty messed up. The airbags went off and broke the glasses on Carlos’ face. Scary. I am glad that they didn’t get anything worse.

Speaking of car accidents, Letty was rammed from behind by this guy in a rented Pontiac Grand AM right at the offramp going to her house – on the day before her last final. She got whiplash and her new car got pretty messed up. The insurance company of the guy is bitchy and doesn’t want to pay for jack, so she got a lawyer, but her lawyer also sucks. She doesn’t have a rental car, her car barely got put in the shop like a week and a half later. To make things worse, her own lawyer got into a pretty bad car accident a few days later and he ended up in the hospital. So her case got transfered to someone else.

Sheesh. Bad things.

Good things: La Chusma bought Juan and me season passes to Magic Mountain. YAY! I can’t wait to go. Last time we went was in December (with our last season passes). \

OK, I gotta go now, I feel better about having written at least a little something.
