I return

So, it’s been a while. I keep wanting to come on, but then I get home, am tired, and after checking on my email, lj, and our boards, I just don’t feel like dealing with it anymore.

So, I will just list events in a random order, because, at this point, I forget when I did what:

– This one I remember. Yesterday, Juan and I went to go see T3. It was cool. Lots of explosions – even if the whole movie was done in front of a blue/green screen. I always thought Claire Daines was pretty (I loved ‘My So Called Life’), but she got even prettier. My favorite thing about this movie? They only used one little sports car. The rest was all big trucks and huge machines. Wanna make big explosions? Use big trucks.

– I am sick. This started yesterday as well. Stupid heat/AC. It is incredibly hot and I hate it.

– Been to the beach for the past two Fridays. The first was just me and Juan, the second was with amontoya as well. We just went to the beach right by my work and chilled for a few hours. I have a friend at work who is lucky enough to live in one of the apartments that sits right by that beach too. Too bad his view is of Huntington Beach instead of the beach right in front of him.

– A couple at work broke up. They got together about a month ago, and she dumped him this week. I saw it coming, but I guess it totally blindsided him. The boy is too nice for this girl. He bought her a computer in their first 2 weeks, and gave her rides to work 3 hours before he had to be there (and would end up just lounging in the break room waiting to clock in). On the other hand, she was having problems adjusting to having a boyfriend, and would go out with guy friends. The latter isn’t so bad, it’s just that by her brief descriptions, those were dates, not hanging out. Poor guy.

– OotP: A completely wonderfully devastating book. I am still trying to adjust. *wails*

– Family is gone to Ensenada for the weekend. Yay! Stress-free weekend.

– Our Nimbus 2003 trip is all settled, registered, and booked. We even have two roomies. One from Utah, and the other from dammit, where was the other girl from?

– I can’t believe that majorxero is almost gone. I am excited for him, and sad for me.

– Tonight we celebrate with a firework show at Lynette’s house. Oh yeah, her dad can put on a 4th of July party like no other. We just have to watch out for the burning ash that falls from the sky…

-The AoP. Well, they’ve hired so many new people that they have cut my hours down badly. I used to have almost full time, now I have like 22 hours a week. Pisses me off. Which brings me to good news. Since so many people have been raving about me in the education department, I now have an interview to see if they can put my anywhere. Jason VanPelt from Guest Services gave the go so they could interview me. I was supposed to have it yestersday, but the rescheduled it for next week. You guys, please pray for me in the hopes that this works out. I really want this bad.
