OH! MY! GOD! OH MY FREAKING GOD! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!! OHMYFREAKINGGOD!!!!

JK Rowling.com just opened up, and she has a a fansite section on there with one site. OUR FREAKING IMMERITUS SITE!! I can be annoying and write like a newbie right now because emotions are overwhelming. Only on here, online, can you people truly relate to how feraking awesome that is. And dudes, it has a mini screenshot from xmas time!

Siri, HRB, Madz, Rob, Ms. E and everyone else at Immeritus, you have made us rock JK’s socks, and she has in turn rocked our world.

Now we have to get on our huge update that we wanted, and we were thinking about having a layout art contest instead of just having HRB do the art as originally intended. Any interested parties, reply or go join us at the boards!

“I love this site, which I discovered towards the end of writing Order of the Phoenix, and which made me feel exceptionally guilty, as you can imagine. I am so proud of the fact that a character, whom I always liked very much, though he never appeared as much more than a brooding presence in the books, has gained a passionate fan-club.

At the launch of Goblet of Fire at King’s Cross, London, I shook hands with a woman who leaned forward and whispered conspiratorally, ‘Sirius Black is the sexy, right?’ And yes, of course she was right. The best-looking, most rebellious, most dangerous of the four marauders… and to answer one burning question on the discussion boards, his eyes are grey.

The fan art on here is very good. For a while I had a picture of the four marauders drawn by Laura Freeman on my desktop. It is a particularly accurate portrayal of Sirius and Lupin.”

And about the award:

“It is truly humbling to see how many fans have taken the time and trouble to create fan sites dedicated to Harry Potter. This is why I have created the Fan Site Award, a trophy given for outstanding devotion to, and knowledge about Harry Potter, not to mention the ingenuity and creativity that make a really memorable site.”

We are the first ever to get this award! It wasn’t Mugglenet.com, or Diagon Alley, or FA or any of those super mega colossal (deserving sites). It was our own Sirius Black site. Our home online. (!!!!!!!!!!!)
