So I know you have all been absolutely dying to know where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to. Right? Right. 😉
Anyway, first off, those of you that may have tried to reach me by phone may have gone straight to voicemail. Why? Because my phone is dead. Yup. Dead. So for now, call me at Juan’s phone.
Anyway, Juan and I are out our new home in Long Beach. *YAY!* It really is an awesome apartment and I can’t wait to have couches and a dining room table and have people over. I also can’t wait to have my computer and internet set up at home. They won’t be coming over to set up the cable internet until the end of next week. 🙁 This means that I will be missing out on the immediate birthday over at Immeritus (our third year anniversary this Fri/Sat – depending on who you ask).
Our apartment has two balconies, guys. One that overlooks the swimming pool and spa, and one that overlooks the the side street, or more like the intersection. We have a walk in closet, a dish washer (never had one of those before and have yet to find an excuse to use it). Juan and I are having a great time getting the place all set up and feeling like home. We have sooooo many dishes!! I think that what we ended up needing the most out of everything were cleaning supplies like rags, detergents, broom, and the big one: a vacuum cleaner! We still need to get one of those. Maybe when we clear the floor of all the boxes and can actually see all the carpet, we will be more pressed to buy it. Oh! And we even bought an iron and an ironing board for those blue moons when we may actually want no wrinkles on our clothes. Yes, our moms would be proud.
Everyday right now, we open up something new, or end up buying something (like groceries yesterday). We even got our first piece of mail today! Yay for Southern California Edison! (yeah, whatever).
I have yet to see one picture from the wedding. Anyone have any? We haven’t met with our photographer yet. We’ve all been busy. But I need to call her up. I can’t wait to see the pics of Juan and me and our families and friends.
When I get my computer all hooked up at home, and when I get the batteries charged up for my camera, AND when I have my cable internet set up at home, then I’ll post some pictures of our pad. You guys have to check it out.
