I finally finished it.

I am blown away by this book. I really am.

I was up til probably 4 in the morning reading, and crying. I cried much more in this book than the GoF and OotP combined. It was terribly sad, why did Dumbledore – gah! And no Hogwarts next year? Does this mean no friends? It is all from Harry’s POV. I really wonder what’s in store for the next one. Dude, and like I told Siri, the only thing worse than having JK kill off your man is to make him go evil. Snape evil. Good thing I didn’t like him from the get-go.

I can’t wait to talk about this with everyone when I get back!

I cried so much too. 🙁 I told Jesus (who hasn’t finished it yet!) that I know that it’s only a character in a book, but it HURT. it really did. We went grocery shopping after i finished it and i was bawling my eyes out in the store.

I can’t even vent to Jesus! I started to cry again, just reading the other comments & remembering…the pleading tone, not right, just not right. not that way….of everyone….
I started to re-read it again, and it hurt, oh god, it did, re-reading Dumbledore inside of the Dursleys. He always knew just what to do, the perfect words that needed to be said. A fine example as he is (perfect!) with them, hilarious!!
*whimpers* I actually miss him……*sobs*

I must be one of the few who didn’t cry. However, I was sitting there with my mouth hanging open thinking “but…but…but…her fansite said not to believe the spoilers that were floating around out there!!!” Having said that I was still really depressed – and I never liked Snape anyway, so meh to him. He just showed me his true colors…

Maybe I’ve just discussed theory a bit too much lately, but I really don’t think Snape is evil. I think he knew the possibility that Dumbledore would endanger himself. I think Dumbledore was fatally injured from the cave – in other words, he would have died anyway.

That’s just my interpretaion…well, not just mine, but I re-read that part twice (so I read it a total of three times) and there is a possibility that Snape employed Legilimency to see what Dumbledore wanted.

Eh. Maybe not.

Either way, great book.

Its nice to know that I am not the only one that bawled. I was on the plane when I got to the part in the cave and I could feel the tears coming so I had to put the book away until I got home to finish.

  Reminds me of GoF. I was reading on the bus, at the back where I always sat. This time there were a bunch of men, mechanics and the like back there with me, and I was reading the graveyard scene. Then I get to the part were Cedric dies, and the waterworks begin. I kept raising my head to push the tears back in, laughing at myself for crying on the bus surrounded by all these men. lol It was hard!
