This summer

So I signed up for summer session at UCLA. ugh. At least I get a break. It’s the third session so it goes from August to September. Stoopid genetics

I am really excited about my classes this quarter. They are gonna be a lot of work, but it will get my creative juices flowing. The Botanical Illustration class is very interesting because there are eight undergrads (me being one of them) in a class with 10 grad students that are doing the science communication graduate program. This means that they kick @$$. Oh my god, they really do. People that complete that program go on to illustrate for all sorts of things, programs, magazines, you name it. It is kinda sad how they’re artistic abilities are so taken for granted most of the time, like in text books, field guides, and even spice jars! *sigh*

I haven’t had my Mexico and the South West class yet, but so far, we don’t need to buy any books at Baytree or at Slug Books. That is very nice! I wouldn’t be surprised if they made us go to the Literary Guillotine though.

That’s all for now. I am very hungry. I haven’t eaten anything all day. I hope Juan cooks me a nice dinner. *wishful thinking*
