At first, you may ber wondering “why?”. Well, the reason is that antipeople claimed the kitty as her own, when in fact it belongs to this guy right here. That was pretty bad, but it gets worse, she went on and made t-shirts and sold them off her site!! That is terrible!! I can’t even describe how bad that is. It’s just bad. >_<

  No problem. You should check out their lj’s when you’re bored. You’ll get both sides of the story, although a lot of it has already been deleted by and because there was so much bashing on both sides. After all that though, I am still not cool with because she just through a fit and decided she wasn’t listening to anyone that wasn’t on her side. I dunno, that’s what I got from her. She keeps moping about how it wasn’t her intention and blah blah blah and makes herself the victim, at the same time getting pissed at everyone else.

    If you did, I’d like to know what technique/filters/graphics imager ya used for that effect 😀

      Uhm, I dunno what image, but I assume it’s the fairy. That fairy is by Brian Froud (it should say that when you mouseover it). He is awesome. Remember “Dark Crystal”? Same guy that designed them all. This particular fairy is “The Fairy of Expression” which I scanned in from my “Good Faeries/Bad Faeries” (she’s a good fairy – Can you tell?). Yeah, so I took that image and I cut it out of the background with Photoshop, feathering the edge about 10px. I then experimented with what colors from the original background would blend nicely and look good as an overall journal layout. This is what I got.
      
      In my layout, I used Dreamweaver because I decided that in this case, it was all about layers. I am using three: the fairy, the main body, and the clique links. I’d be glad to help you out with whatever I can.
      
      And a little off topic: the paid account is so worth it! The servers are so much faster and the ability to customize is great!

        I’ll agree with you on Dreamweaver, that and Adobe Photoshop are sooo worth the price.

        YES! Paid accounts seem to be worth it….the best thing I personally think about it is the simple fact that with a simple line of code you can integrate your LJ into an existing website desing without an IFrame just like a blog without all the additional server BS of a blog 😀
        Might be something to look into myself.
