OMFG!
Google sent me a present!
For the past week, I have been trying to rack/wreck/wrack/whothehellknows my brain for what I could have possibly ordered lately, especially something via UPS. I had absolutely no idea. The UPS guy must have the lightest knock because I never heard it, even though I was here 2/3 times he came by the house. I finally got it scheduled to go to work because there SOMEBODY would have to be there and sign for it. So I finally got it today, and lo and behold, it is a pretty box from Google.
Huh.
I opens it. Google holiday card with “Happy Holidays” written in a plethora of languages.
I am still confused. Nothing with my name on the inside, nothing with any indication of what this might be or why I am getting it. I go further into the box and pull out AN ACRYLIC DIGITAL PHOTO FRAME!! OMFJEEBUS! It is small, 4×6 inches including the acrylic, 2.75×2.25 inches just for the screen. I haven’t checked out the specs, or even have my camera to take photos and show it to you guys or to see the resolution. The whole package, the card, the presentation. It is just awesome.
So I still didn’t know why the hell I had this. So what else to do, but Google it? lol So I did, and came across an article about Google sending gifts to their top AdSense publishers. Last year, they sent this tech package that included all sorts of goodies from wireless hubs to usb drives.
In true to Google fashion, no one knows what makes the cut off, so who knows what it is, but apparently, we made enough money this year to qualify for something I didn’t even know we were in the running for. Awesome.
Now I really want to spruce up the ads because I haven’t done that in a while. Talk about incentive! That just made me want to revamp the entire program on our site.
So freakin’ awesome!
