OMG KITTENS!!

My coworker alexih and I share an office. And right now, in our office, is a big basket full of kittens! In case you didn’t know, I am a cat person. Dogs don’t do much for me (unless his name starts with Pad and ends with foot!), but cats, I love ’em. And kittens? Well, I simply melt! Their story is posted to Alexi’s blog right here. Bottom line is that they need a home, and although most of you are way too far to make it feasible, a few of you are just around the corner. But for everyone, here are some more adorable kitten photos that I took this morning!

awwww. how adorable! sad though.
I’m a dog person, as you already know. But any animal as a baby is teh-cute. I read Alexi’s LJ post. I hope everything turns out for the best!

Aww, too cute! I wish I lived closer, we’d take at least two. Well, I would while Mr. Dexy ranted and raved about it. :p

and because it’s me and I just can’t stop myself, if you have to bottle feed them, try and rig something up with a teddy bear (or something similarly soft and furry) so that they are eating while laying on their tummies and can knead the teddy with their paws. That simulates how they would nurse on their mommy and is probably good for their developement. If you feed them on their backs, there’s and increased chance they will choke on it. I know, I’m a nerd, I know, I know already. *goes off to be nerdy elsewhere*

  oh yes, this can be achieved by putting them on your chest and having them feed on your shoulder, but it hurts. Rather a lot. *runs*

  I did try to always give them something to knead. Once I got home, I let them borrow a teddy bear. But they were so cute, looking for a place to put their paws. Always gave them something soft to do that on, even if all I could manage at the time was my hand.
