Getting to know me
I got this from Alex, sent it out, and decided I wanted it in my journal:
Welcome to the next edition of getting to know your
friends:

1. IF YOU COULD BUILD YOUR HOUSE ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD
IT BE? Does it have to be a real place? Can I make a place up? Well, assuming I could make a place up, I would build my house on the edge of the red woods forest where the beach meets up with the tree line. Behind my house, I would have a vast forest to hike and explore in, where I would eventually find a river that I could an play in. All this would have to be 5 minutes from LA though. 🙂
2. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING? Hmm, I am all about comfort, so, it would have to be my pajama pants and a nice big t-shirt.
3. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PHYSICAL FEATURE OF THE OPPOSITE SEX? Favorite feature? I, uhm, I guess my favorite would have to be a very general upper body. Defined arms and chest are very nice.
4. WHAT’S THE LAST CD THAT YOU BOUGHT? The last CD I bought must have been a blank one.
5. WHERE’S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO BE ? I really don’t have a favorite place to be. I am also a real homebody, but nature is a beautiful thing, and for that, I am going to miss Santa Cruz very much.
6. WHERE’S YOUR LEAST FAVORITE PLACE TO BE? In class, during an exam.
7. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO BE MASSAGED? My back.
8. WHAT’S MOST IMPORTANT STRONG IN MIND OR STRONG IN BODY? Definately the mind. Who would answer the body?
9. WHAT TIME DO YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING? Whenever I feel like it. HA! How many of you can say that?
10. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TV SHOW? Star Trek: TNG, Voyager.
11. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE KITCHEN APPLIANCE? The fridge. I can always cook things in any fire, but the fridge! Ah, there’s a wonderful invention! The freezer? Even better!
12. WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY? I don’t have to many childhood memories. I suck at remembering that. Let’s see. . . oh! Got one! It was our neighbor’s First Comunion: two kids a couple years older than me. We were at Obregon park in East Los for their celebration picnic. It was time for the cake and pictures and stuff, so the two kids got the cake and tilted it on the bench table they were on to show the camera. I was sitting on the bench in front of it, kinda thinking I wanted to show off my new dress and frame the picture with me in it. My legs were extended on the bench – right under the cake. Well, the cake slid off the cardboard that it was placed on – right onto my leg. I stared in disbelief and gawked at them. I couldn’t believe that they had let the cake slip on to my leg and pretty dress! So I stared at them and took a chunk of cake and threw it at them (all in good fun). They looked at me in disbelief and took some and threw it at me. That started a massive cake fight that involved all the kids and most of the adults!!! It was so much fun! I think I should ask my mom for those pictures. They are hilarious! We had so much fun throwing cake around like that. My only food fight ever, and my parents were involved!
13. WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH? Uhm, funny things? I mean, all sorts of things, but the ones that are not deliberately funny, those are the best! Oh yeah, that and seeing Alex cross her legs and crouch to the floor in an attempt to regain composure and keep her from peeing all over herself because she is laughing too hard! LMAO!
14. WHAT MAKES YOU REALLY ANGRY? Stupid, ignorant people.
15. IF YOU COULD PLAY ANY INSTRUMENT WHAT WOULD IT BE? The guitar, but I don’t want to cut my nails.
16. FAVORITE RESTAURANT/CAFE/EATERY? Taqueria Santa Cruz? 🙂
17. SCARIEST MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE? Things that have to do with Juan’s past, things that only a handful of people in this world would understand and know about. Things I really don’t want to talk about on here, and shouldn’t talk about with people that don’t already know. (Geez, after reading this over, it sounds very scary, but don’t worry, all’s ok!)
18. IF THERE WAS A MOVIE MADE ABOUT YOU, WHAT CURRENT/FORMER HOLLYWOOD STAR WOULD PLAY YOU? Camryn Manheim, a UCSC Graduate, and a very powerful, beautiful woman that I admire very much. I could only hope that she would be me. (She comes out in The Practice)
19. DO YOU BELIEVE IN AFTERLIFE? I have to, it is in my being.
20. FAVORITE CHILDREN’S BOOK? Harry Potter. It is listed a children’s book, but we all know better than that, don’t we?
21. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON? Autumn. With it comes comfortable weather and my birthday.
22. WHAT IS YOUR LEAST FAVORITE HOUSEHOLD CHORE? Least favorite? Geez . . . . I hate it all. In my apartment, I hate to do dishes and my laundry. At home I hate dusting.
23. IF YOU COULD HAVE ONE SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Omnipotence. How’s that for a SUPER Super power? Lol, really, I guess it would be to have the power of persuation. Did you guys see that Dark Angel episode where the girl would just tilt her head when she talked and people would do whatever she said?
24. IF YOU HAVE A TATTOO, WHAT IS IT? I don’t have one – yet.
25. WHO WAS YOUR FIRST LOVE AND AT WHAT AGE? This is easy, Juan! At age 17.
26. THE SONG YOU WISHED YOU HAD WRITTEN? This is such a big question. I don’t know! I am not sure I wished I had written any song at all. I never think about that. I just think about the song as it is already, and love it for it.
27. DO YOU PREFER CATS OR DOGS? Cats, 100%
28. WHAT’S IN THE TRUNK OF YOUR CAR? Don’t have one.

31. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DAY? Friday! Lateley though, I have taken a liking to Wednesdays because I go downtown to Farmer’s Market and buy organic flowers and yummy avocados from the local farmers.
