Right now it is raining outside and I am totally and completely giddy with joy. Listening to it fall outside from the comfort of my bed is just so perfect. Thank goodness that this year started out wet. It was about time.

  Heh droughts suck don’t they? We’re having the worst drought in 100 years here – 4 minute showers, no hosing or sprinklers, water saving shower heads and faucets fitted, and all that stuff. And yet out in western queensland it’s been raining for ages and it’s completely flooded. Go figure.

Giddy with joy over rain? Weirdo. There’s no sunshine here in Seattle! And it sorta snowed but not enough to let me stay home from work. The sky right now is the color of cigarette ashes. I miss Cali. – Toni

  Funnily enough, the news are all happily comparing this week to Seattle. Seems we have out-rained you guys this year so far. Not that that says too much, but it does say that we finally got some much needed rain! We’ve had something like 2.5 inches more rain than you guys this year (month).
  
  Fortunately for us here though, we get the beautiful blue skies when it rains. Well, before and after and in the breaks in between.
