De-lurking

Hi guys! I went on an unofficial hiatus since Christmas eve! I have been keeping tabs on LJ, Flickr, etc, I just haven’t felt like writing even though I have a lot to say (not necessarily interesting, just a lot to share). So I wanted to come in and break the ice and let you know that I am indeed alive. I am really excited for Battlestar since it has started up although I won’t be watching it air on Sci-fi because it looks like crap on our tv but will hopefully be catching them after on the Xbox Live Marketplace or something easily shown on our tv. We’ll see.

Before I go, I wanted to share with you what I think is an awesome site: obamaicon.me

You can upload your photo (if you know how to use PS or other graphic program you should knock out the background and upload a pic with a transparent background (gif or png is good) because it will look better) and give it the Shepard Fairey look, like you see here. You can even write whatever you want on the bottom. If you use it, post a link because I want to see what you do with it! Be forewarned though: the site has been getting a lot of traffic, so be patient. If it tells you the file isn’t uploading properly, try again later. ETA: I just got an error that I had to share.

January 20 is almost here!

PS: I feel awful about the record breaking cold on the East coast because here, we are having record breaking heat for the season. Sucks big time.
